Please be aware that, as of early 2016, TP Link has begun to lock down their router devices 
to prevent the installation of non-OEM firmware.

This in in response to a proposed change in FCC rules.

The implication of this is that you will quite possibly NOT be able to install the firmware 
provided on this website for TP Link routers purchased after 2015.
